anyone that can help me the really nice quality (atm it's average), would be nice.

don't mean to bribe, but if u do help me get it, then i can offer u some really nice secret stuff, including an effects plugin in vegas that was used only in Decimated and some other nice techniques in Adobe.

i think my gfx and cfg are highest possible so i dont see why i don't get really good quality :( maybe smth to do with sony vegas effects or compression.

it isn't top quality you can achieve, but it was a quick draft of the possibilities.

it looks better than 75% of the XviD ET movies though

and it's just r_mode 7 -> r_mode 4 downsizing ;)

ye x264, but i meant the 800 x 600, always looks like a weird resolution to me, prefer to see it abit more widescreen :]

What you've got there is about 13 seconds of standard definition video. Therefore it's 1 mb per second. And the motion isn't fast at all for the most part.

Looking at the Quantization options I'm reminded by a conversation I had once with jrb from shaolinproductions like 2 years ago. I dug up the logs. October 12th 2005.

I've got no idea about the quantizer settings. I've read a few doom9 tutorials on XviD settings, and some other FAQs and tutorials as well. The quantizers always remained a mystery for me. :)

I remeber reading realy realy long post about xvid on doom9 once and i thought wow this guy realy knows a lot about this... next post was: "you're completly wrong about everything"

agree with 31 part, but difference between 1 and 2 is unnoticable and filesize difference is huge, so i think 2 min is better then 1 min.
