A while back, I wrote an article about TF2 to promote the game as a real competitive alternative. The main motivation behind that article was to gather up any wayward gamers and lure them into the world of rocket jumps and uber-charges. I knew before I began to compose that article, that our community was split/divided over what game to move onto in the coming future but reading Crossfire over the past few months, this has become ten times more apparent. Well, for me at least.

With this in mind, I thought I would track down a few well known ET players who where formerly mainstays of the ET high-skilled community, to ask them what they plan to do in the future relating to their competitive gaming careers. Some have moved onto other games, some are planning to move on and one or two of them haven’t given up on ET just yet!

It will be interesting to see the contrasting views (or maybe not?) these guys may have, considering they all at one point or another played ET into the wee hours of the night (Wee is another word for small, it’s not pee).

I conducted these interviews a good few weeks ago, before the release of CoD4. My main plan, was to create these interviews intentionally before the release of CoD4, to see what opinions these gamers had. Now that the game has been released, I plan to do conduct a few more interviews, to see what sort of reception CoD4 has received and what will have happened in the Quake Wars scene since those original interviews.

I know there has been a lot of posts and content about new games recently and hopefully you aren't getting bogged down with all the new contributions but interviews are nice and quick to read and usually don't require much brain power to comprehend :P. So with that in mind, I hope you enjoy my multi-layered interview!

(Posted this as an Article so that I could have separate pages for the interviews)
