A-tournament
The prize purse of the A-tournament is 25.000 Euro.
The A-tournament will consist of 8 groups of 4 teams (32 teams), followed by double elimination. The first and second placed teams in each group are placed in upper bracket, while third and fourth teams are placed in lower bracket, guaranteeing each team at least 4 matches.
Each round of the upper bracket have 3.200 Euro to be divided amongst the winning teams. First round have 8 winning teams each getting 400 Euro, next round have 4 winning teams each getting 800 Euro etc. The winner of the A-tournament will get 7.500 Euro, second place 2.500 Euro and third place 1.500 Euro, while the winner of the Consolidation final receives 700 Euro.
The A-tournament prize system:
Upper bracket 1: 3.200 / 8 = 400 Euro to each winner
Upper bracket 2: 3.200 / 4 = 800 Euro to each winner
Upper bracket 3: 3.200 / 2 = 1.600 Euro to each winner
Upper bracket 4: 3.200 / 1 = 3.200 Euro to each winner
Consolidation winner: 700 Euro
Consolidation loser: 1.500 Euro
Second place: 2.500 Euro
First place: 7.500 Euro
Total: 25.000 Euro
This means that an undefeated team at the-eXperience will get: 13.500 Euro (400+800+1600+3200+7500)
B-tournament
The prize purse of the B-tournament is 2.500 Euro.
The B-tournament will consist of x amount of groups of 20 teams depending on how many teams sign up (e.g. 8 groups of 4 teams, 4 groups of 5 teams etc.), followed by single elimination. The first and second placed teams in each group advances to the playoff. The top 4 teams of the B-tournament will by allowed access to the A-tournament free of charge and be rewarded the following:
1st: 1.250 Euro
2nd: 750 Euro
3rd: 250 Euro
4th: 250 Euro
In case fewer teams than 28 signing up for the A-tournament, the tournament will be filled with remaining teams from the B-tournament. E.g. with 24 teams signed up for the A-tournament an extra 4 teams will be admitted from the B tournament, making the total number of advancing teams 8.
