Doomsday scenario, 31st November 2009 - Wolfenstein has failed, TAG are a recognised political party, ET is smaller as a result of Wolfenstein and CoD6 stealing some players from the game and Crossfire is left with a community without a clear vision of content desires. What do you want from Crossfire then?

CF has consistently evolved and I'm keen for it to be a tool for whatever anyone wants to achieve in eSports and as such we've done a number of projects to further grow the games on CF. As such my personal opinion that Crossfire needs to always have 1 or 2 core games that its audience are interested in but moving forward I feel it should also have a 'gameless' attribute to it.

Right now you can see on the front page a North American Quakelive newspost, Its got some big names, its got some coverage and its a well formatted post. So why not put it on the front page? Of the 100k people that visit crossfire on a monthly basis I would guestimate that 10% enjoy Quake. I would guess that another 10% like Starcraft, maybe 15% enjoy CoD, maybe 5% enjoy CS. So why not let Crossfire serve those users content? If its filtered away, then those who dont like it dont need to see it.

In the past weeks you've seen a decline in ET newsposts on CF because theres not really that much ongoing. There arent any highprofile roster changes, the EC season has reached its climax and the reality is the game is old and people are waiting for Wolfenstein. The ingredients for active community news for 1 game arent there at the moment so now is a good time to look at what else the users might want from Crossfire.

So errr what do you want? Now is good time with the summer holidays and summer LANs to let us know what other content you'd like to see on Crossfire!
