Easy Mode has been removed from ClanBase EC with absolutely no basis. The reasons I have managed to gather by reading Crossfire & ClanBase and by discussing with relevant people, are the following (all unedited quotes btw and this ALL should be public info anyway so don't get upset from leaking logs)
1)
GamesTV playmoney betting. Hardly anything serious and in no way related to EC. I thought until late that this was a joke.
2)
Were going to do random stuff like playing with backups, and were not going to practise. Notice how both of these horrible crimes against humanity and the scene were not even actually COMMITTED, but only on a "GOING TO DO" -phase. This is absolutely not a reason for consequences .
3 and the most important one)
The event that ultimately lead to EM's deletion was the announcement by a player who no longer is active in the team. I will not quote him/her to save the privacy of those who want it .
The person made the situation sound like the team is completely dead - this was merely a communication flaw between him and the CB people in question, and it lead to the admins simply deleting the whole Easy Mode out of EuroCup, without asking anyone else about it.
[20:14] <Vanhaomena> I demand you to give them a chance to continue in CB if they wish.
When asked about it:
Speaking on behalf of EASYMODE, we officially want to play EC.
There were two communication mistakes committed which lead to every problem.
1. First was the announcement of the single player who no longer wishes to play with Easy Mode, being interpreted by the admins as " Easy Mode is a dead clan". This was not the case, even though the lineup was weakened, it was still willing to play and potentially competitive with allowed players.
The issue about
planning mischief
should be completely ignored, I know I and some others have joked about "not caring about ET and firing up a bot in the next official" even though nobody was actually even close to doing it really.
2. The next error was the newspost and discussion in . The real reasons for ClanBase's actions were left unspoken to defend the privacy of a person who wishes to remain anonymous, so a hazardous alternative was taken - making up a really unjust reason!
Presenting GamesTV playmoney betting, playing with lowskills and planning mischief as the reasons to a brutal removal from EuroCup made the readers find the event hilarious, and at that time ClanBase was a complete ClownBase from the reader's viewpoint.

As a conclusion to this, I propose that the GTV Betting Scandal newspost is declared as misinformation, and Easy Mode would be allowed to re-enter the EuroCup arena.

I'm acting as a rogue internet lawyer here without actually discussing this with EM, if you want to forget about everything related to CB (which would be understandable), I can insta-delete this column. I'm not fighting for anyONE in particular, I only defend justice as an online white knight.
If there actually is a decent reason for the punishment, you didn't tell it in public or when I asked in private. I could not have known. If you claim that I've been misinformed, now is about f'n time to enlighten me. EDIT: <- confirmed to be the case.
I will leave this column here because these were my opinions and the only logical conclusion I could've made with the info I had when making this column. I don't consider my points valid upon reviewing the case in more detail, so I scored-through it.
-> TL;DR VERSION HERE !!!! <-
Easymode should be allowed back to EC

TL;DR they don't want to play EC, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. They did it 2 times and that's enough.
Hard.
somehow the layout reminds me of a snake but not in a bad ass venom spitting way, more like "oh crap all my skin just fell off AGAIN"
No, seriously, why put off a team that has a chance to win
I am sorry, I thought it was the GTV money thingy that got the team kicked out of the competetion
the full lineup (minus one, baggiez stepped in who is an EC player himself so not exactly a bad backup) was on the server for the game vs frogs and frogs didnt show?
backups were not played to make gamestv money, backups were going to play those 2 matches regardless because of main lineup not being available and winning or losing them not really mattering
lol if it's true, wp cb
edit; after this game they were removed from EC so weren't even really given a chance to play :3
its a lil too obvious but keep up the good work - better luck next time :)
How would you react if someone asked you to come back from a decision you made, because he states that if you don't, "you got no balls"?
That's what happened here and at least the... person whose name I won't say.. proved he does have some balls left by telling me some better reasons behind this decision.
The above seems to be the case
Soz, it's gone now btw
Aza trolling hard?
Excuse, or reason?
rather do something else than play a game that has no use
if you aren't good enough then play oc instead. there are already FAR too many oc clans in ec
PANIC
DISORDER
THE HORROR
Shows time and time again that you should mind your own business.
Nobody has to "enlighten" you. Again, none of your "f'n" business!
We did reach an agreement about ruling, and that would've been impossible had I not "minded someone else's f'n business". I would still think that Killerboy has gone crazy.
It was me who brought up to him the fact that reading "GTV Betting Scandal" with no inside info gives a REALLY twisted view on the situation. Nobody that was higher in the CF hierarchy seemed to notice anything wrong with it, but from the readers perspective, at that time:
1) it was completely ridiculous and CB and CF both looked like a bunch of clowns (untrue ofc)
2) my column was fugly as hell but completely valid in points
My allegations toward you were based on your ignorant demand for someone in a position such as KB's to give you the true explanation. As you say KB did talk to you about this incident. But I have my doubts that he talked to you because you were involved in some way. I assume he talked to you about it because you wrote this column about it, and having a negative but false story spread out across crossfire really turns the entire community against you, even if it's false.
People believe whatever you write, I'm talking out of personal experience. If someone says krosan is a retarded admin, people are going to mimic that behaviour, because it's "cool" and badass. They don't question the reasons, nor the validity.
But on this matter CB told us a lie, which was their own decision. I'm not saying your column didn't have the direct effect of unfolding the truth behind this e-drama, but I'm saying that CB have the choice to tell you something or not.
You demand to be "enlightened", but you aren't involved. It's ignorant to do so anyway.
My column is and never was a negative false story. It was the only logical retaliation against unjust rulings based on the information that was given to Members. Now we have more information and everyone is happier. Notice the "if I'm wrong" statement? It actually changes the validity of the complete column from untrue to true. Without that it would've been a negative false story. Should I move that part to the very opening part of the text?
I demand to be enlightened because I honestly believe that information is not a priviledge of "higher-ups" only and that free speech is a human right. Private, and now I mean Personally Private information discounted, obviously.
Based on your take on information-sharing, should I disclosure the details of the AEF sponsorship deals to you too? It's surely sensitive information, and according to you it should not only be a privilege of us "higher-ups". I could name plenty examples where information is being withheld from the general public, for good reasons too.
I doubt the crowd would be biased in favor of ME, the kiddo, instead of the admins! I'm the hated KRP troller here, you're the God who is supposed to know better! Hopefully people can forget about who's writing and concentrate on the content...
Your deal with another person or company of course falls under Personally Private. Reasons for a ban from a gaming league definitely do not. Go ahead and keep your sponsor deals to yourself.
Now that the serious-mode is off and strap-on rape mode is on, I declare this discussion dried up. Have a relaxing kitten&bunny
so he only did it cause his ego was high like the twin towers eh?!
...ok you got me there...
darn you best anybody anywhere dont you?
