On the other hand the players should get some more 'power' but not by building their own site just like CB.
CB could recruit some more people tho, but that's their decision to make. And as shown recently, it's hard to find trustworthy people.
About your punkbuster part, the Q2 thing doesn't make sense, but updating PB seems to be really hard for ET, since its an open source game, coders just adjust something & it works again. You can't force them to update it. I'm sure they try their best to just to keep ET 'clean'. Just give them some time :)

We do not play with nor against them anymore after they've got busted.
If you know someone is/has been hacking, don't play with him and if he is searching for a match, just ignore him.
also, its not fair for some teams, like pi. if some players arent allowed to go on lans, like perfo, you would fuck up the whole team and its not fair.
lans are lans, online is online.
same goes for BYOC. not everybody can take his pc and travel 300 miles n stuff. also, pc's of some players are also used by their parents and cant be taken away for even few days.

I would vote for a Sticky - Forumthread with all real Cheaters in it. We need a Crew who go through all the assumption and stick the real proofed accusations together -> Leagueadmins can find the facts (not everybody can browse 24h each day through the threads and search for the cheatingissues...)

But keep in mind that with the new C&A (cheat and abuse) policy the dicision to ban lies with the CB chiefs and that it will take a little more time for them to get a trustworthy list of cheaters.
More info will be given in the next few days when CB chiefs will come and talk with us.
not rly, one guy gave me once link where was like 100 unclean pb ss's, from different polish players. just check clanbase's cheaterforum, guys like bulldog, olly & chuckie (for example) busts ~5 guys in a day.

actually they have done very much, they even have cheaterforum nowadays. they just need more than demo to ban somebody. so.. PLEASE, you are talking so much shit man, get some proves before start blaming them.
well get some another guid-system then, you can't just sit on your computer and say: "im the only one, who doesn't like cheaters"

Yes, so, like NR said, we're doing all we can to do our job.
tbh we're spending 80% of our time on cb on cheaters. We got quite a list ready, right now we're just waiting for an answer from the chiefs.
That takes time, and thats the way it is. we probably won't have an answer within "the next few days", it might even take up to two weeks, but thats out of our control.
so, REIJORETARDI, you want to get off CB so ET is clean of cheaters? you want to leave all the records cb has behind and start your own league? Im curious about what you think is sufficient enough to ban cheaters, please enlighten me.
