Black Ops 2 : My first thoughts extended...
I thought as i had been waffling on about it so much i should really get you guys some game-play video . I tried to quickly address some of the points that have been highlighted to me while playing this game and my thoughts prior.
I hope you enjoy it, i know the quality isn't ideal but neither is my PC. The point of it all is to really ask you what you think about the points i raise and how you are finding it so far and are there topics you want me to go further in depth about?
not made/balanced for compwtitive play.
no moddability.
1 year life span.
as a shoutcaster its hardly worth your time. if you enjoy playing it thats a different story.
didnt quite get what you like about this particular installment.
e: the thing i personally struggle with the most is the rather random weapon spray combined with a short ttk.
its hard to take something like that seriously.
and lets be honest: cod4 wasnt a competitive game in any way. it just had moddablility, thats all.

but this is what I'm expecting (based on the first BO):
on a more serious note: why don't cf users say this anymore :'(
a real +1 for this
Definitely a breath of fresh air in the crossfire article section. Actually a great idea, maybe more people with an opinion to share can use this approach to actually submit something useful on this site :)
About the game, it sounds promising, but the fact that you'd like to learn everything about the game doesn't mean the game is suitable for competition. It sure is a necessity to make it a great game, but if you don't have the tools to create a fair competition with a decent ruleset (cfr. config possibilities), then it's just an addictive pub game.
So like I said you need to be able to disable noob-shit like that bomb-tele-car that I saw in one of the horrible prequels of this title. And that's the easiest part, it probably is possible to do so. But something like promod won't be in the release, you know that too. In one of your earlier articles you said it could be ok to play competitively out-of-the-box, do you really believe that and has your opinion changed after playing it?
If this could be a quake type of game competitively, then I'd be happy to play it. But s&d out-of-the-box doesn't work like you said.
Again, great addition to the articles section!
