Wanted to see how ET runs on my laptop and if it might work to play some pub on. However when I start it up and reaches the menu everything stops... I cant move the cursor anywhere, I cant alt tab, I cant alt ctrl delete, nothing.
The bomb smoke thats moving around in the background in the menu keeps on moving thought. :S
Other q3-engine games works flawless, like quake 3 and RTCW. Also newer games like COD2 starts perfectly (hi fps drops)
So whatever the problem is it cant have anything to do with the q3-engine, but something that ET got that isnt in RTCW or quake 3

ET runs fine (read: radar timedemo 150fps. thats means 10fps less than my last PC) on my laptop :)
whats ur laptops specs?
