r_displayrefresh!

Dear readers,

I was wondering why some players prefer to put r_displayrefresh 0 instead of r_displayrefresh 100/120/144.
If I for example would put it to 144 in Windows, but ingame to 0 would it still be the same feeling/advantage?
What exactly are the benefits for putting it to 100/120/144 ingame and in Windows, as to putting it to 0 ingame but 100/120/144 in Windows?

Putting refreshment on 0 will leave it default. So it will leave what you have on your desktop.

So by putting it to 0 ingame - 100/120/144 in windows will still result in the same effect/smoothness as putting it to 100/120/144 ingame - 100/120/144 windows?

Yep, there is no different. Putting it to 0 wont change your refreshment.
0 is desktop settings.
