Buy RTCW

First of all, happy newyear 2 all ;>
Second of all I think you guys can help me...
I'm thinking about buying RTCW. Most of you would say " omfg nub that game is uberdead, why buy it :x! "
The reason i'm suggesting buying it is because my comp is not very leet... ( 4 years old, uberslow, 32 MB graphcard, and stuff...) and my parents only allow me to buy a new one if I wait for one year. I think that RTCW would be more fun to play because i should have more fps, because the game is not very recent...
If I would accualy buy it, it would cost me 10 EUR...
