"World Cyber Games announced changes today to the WCG USA competition and qualification program. Unfortunately due to sponsorship funding issues, the WCG USA program and selection process of Team USA members has been altered. Only the winners of the League of Legends and Crossfire online national final will advance to the WCG 2011 Grand Finals in Busan, Korea which is set to take place December 8 – 11 with an expense paid trip as part of Team USA. "
This means that we won't see any USA players in WCG in Starcraft II or in Counter
Strike 1.6. Winners of these are sent to World Cyber Games Pan-Am games in San Paulo, Brazil November 4 – 6, 2011
TL;DR: Winners of LoL and Crossfire tournaments will be sent to WCG. Instead winners of Counter Strike 1.6 and Starcraft II won't be send.
LoL > SC2?
