This song is awesome. But i knew it years before this succes.
I don't get why people are allowed to make money with his voice since he's dead. Fuck off.
Because they just want to make money. They don't care about the song, it's all about money.
I remember some years ago (I was something like 15/16), none of my friends knew this song, except one. We would have been renamed "gaytards" or something if they had discovered this one on our ipod. But since they decided to broadcast this song more then a hundred times a day on the radio, everybody is like "omg this is awesome, and i respect him even if he's fat" (they don't even know that he died more then 10 years ago). On the other side, they only listen to Rihanna, Pitbull and some retarded talentless fucktards.
They hate the guitars, they have never listened to a classical masterpiece, they don't give a fuck about Hans Zimmer (i mean, most of them. But we live in a retarded world) and they cannot stand any quiet chat in a bar. They need some BOOM BOOM HANDS UP WE ARE YOUNG SO WE ARE FAGS WE HAVE TO HATE THE WORLD.
That's some nice generalization! You do forget the fact that songs either have to be good or popular to be played on the radio. This extends the popularity of the song but it only happens when it was already popular or when it is a good song.
Why is the intention of the producers bothering you here? Sure, they do want to make money, and only money. But they're still spreading a good song and for every so many sheep in the herd that just follow there is someone real.
People that say could be plain honest about their opinion here yet you mark them as retards simply because they do not share your views or are not as intelligent.
Sorry mate, but the songs don't have to be popular to be played on the radio.
Only a few stations work like this. "Hit music only" is lame. They buy 20 songs a month and broadcast them all day long and most of the time, people do not remind them 3 or 4 months after, because that's shit! Simply shit!
Do you remember the first Guetta's you heard? Don't lie, i'm pretty sure that you don't. And i don't. Why? Because this song is lame now.
What's my point? This song was shit.
I've a female friend who was addicted to "Viva la Vida" when it came out. I once set the old album "Parachutes" in the car, and without knowing that it was the same band, she told me that this album was shit.
You cut my quotation. My point was that these people are usually disrespectful and that for once, they were fan of a fat guy just because the radio spammed his song.
I did not say songs have to be good to be played on the radio. They could also be popular in advance. They get promoted by the producers, get spread amongst people that share song and get many views on YouTube making station more interested to play them. Do note that 'good' and 'popular' are two different things in this situation.
Who are you to tell that they are fan only because the radio spammed his song? They could also just be loving the song, right? And even if they do only support because the song was played on the radio many times, it wouldn't necessarily mean that their feelings are dishonest.
I take it you've met all these people to find out whether they are usually disrespectful towards certain things?
As for you're story about a female friend I can only guess after the point of that.
Perhaps you can rephrase it for me. I'm also quite sure this whole thing has little to do with a lack of self-esteem.
If it wasn't for other things I probably would have attempted to try and play ET again now that 6on6 is back.

That's called no self-esteem..
