Since I'm kinda into SciFi kinda movies I'd like to ask you if you can recommend me some :)

I'm not interested in series (neither Stargate/trek)..

I have already watched a shitload of scifi movies so I'd appreciate some more unknown ones

Most books written by Isaac Asimov and Larry Niven. Highly recommended are the Foundation series and Ringworld series respectively.

I read what he wrote and it occurred to me that people never ask for books here. So instead of suggesting the same old movies again, I suggested a few good books.

Movies, not books good sir, anyway if you're into Scifi Books you should try Limit by Frank Schaetzing (if it is translated already)

I know, but people are better off reading books. Unfortunately I know very little books which actually translated to good movies and it seems to be even more rare in science fiction.

As for the book you suggested, I guess I could read the original without too much problems.
