Mayweather vs Ortiz

Just watched this fight, had a feeling some crazy shit was gonna happen :d

Ortiz throws a shitload of punches at Mayweather, gets him in the corner and headbutts him. Ref steps in. After a while they meet up in the middle, hug and shit and out of nowhere Mayweather knocks him out :D

Ref wasn't even paying attention at all.

Awesome. Ortiz: Bitch move -> Mayweather: Bitch move -> KO

And to add to all of this, Mayweather goes crazy in the post fight interview.

Pretty much everyone fucked up tbh, Mayweather, Ortiz, the ref. Mayweather made himself look like a douche and Ortiz a total hero after that interview though. Ortiz was just laughing it off. Fucking bizzare though :d never seen anything like this.

Ortiz just randomly comes up and like hugs Mayweather and starts highfiving the Mayweather crew LMAO, this after being suckerpunched and KO'd. Maybe he was just happy to collect his paycheck early? :D

Made himself look like a bit of a good guy as well, even after dishing out that headbutt :D

If Ortiz didn't headbutt him, this wouldn't have happened. Ortiz only has himself to blame. He made the illegal move and it was his own fault for not putting his guard up after they tapped gloves.

Mayweather didn't put his hands down once they had tapped gloves, so Ortiz should have been more aware.

This is true, but I think the biggest fuckup is the ref. Wasn't clear enough that it was a true restart imo, at least not from the camera angles I saw. In one clip you can hear him saying "Let's go", but then he just randomly looks to the ringside ref(?) or something. I mean it's as vauge as it can get. Either way it doesn't really matter cause Ortiz didn't really seem to give a shit, happy to walk away with $2.5 million or whatever it was :D

Funny as hell though :D

The ref certainly wasn't paying attention, but from what I remember, none of the players were looking at the ref so wouldn't have seen him look away.
