after 1,5 years, i finally did it.

loads of music,movies (300gb or smth lol), photos, pics & obviously porn are gone. :3

backed up few important thingiez, now just finished installing drivers and shit.


do you format "alot"? like every half a year or 3 months or just never.

Every time on Monday before my last class(psychology) I have a major headache. It starts at 7:40 PM and I've been in school since 8:00AM =/. I fall asleep and the teacher always embarrasses me. Yesterday she tapped me and said "Wake up, you're snoring."

Other than that, Tuesday isn't bad. =/

you should make 2 partitions, one only with windows + desktop files (and you only format this partition), and second one with music,movies, etc so you won't lose it when you do format
I do format when I feel that my PC is being slow :D (after 6 months usually)

takes 30 mins to format and install windows again iof you go for 7. antivirus microsoft security essentials is good and free. then installing drivers and oter programs usually take about 30-60 minms for me (i saved all the setup files for programms i always use on an e xternal HD) so its not that much hassle tbh

very often, but i have like 3 different HD's where i duint have windows on so they dont need to be formatted and there i save all my music and films etc so theyre never gone. i dont know why you d idnt do that

Anyone formatting should use www.ninite.org
It is a site where you can get browser, antivirus, steam, utorrent, music player, java and other useful programs. You just choose programs and it'll install selected programs automatically. You don't have to install them manually anymore.

Only format when I got some real problems with my PC, just dont open every .exe file you find on the internet. Never noticed my PC getting slower after a while, well only boot time seems to increase a bit after a while but that is no problem for me.
