Certified Computer Forensics Examiner

Has anyone here considered being one of these...im currently interested in this type of work but i want to get some feedback from people that do it and currently interested in doing this line of work. It's starting to become pretty big over here in the states

really good money. its more of i want to do data recovering and retreiving it through a broken harddrive. rather than looking through files on confiscated computers and marking it evidence and not evidence

I find it it hard to believe that a CCFE only recovers data from possible broken HDD's and not have to examine it. For that you don't need to be a CCFE. Any hdd recovery company can help you with that.

I guess if you dont get bored easily, are meticulous and have no problem documenting.
I know that for such work here, you will have to have a great deal of previous experience with relevant jobs AND be lucky. :U
