4/3 instead of 16/9, CCC

Hey everybody, I would like to find how to play at 4/3 resolution instead of 16/9.
Since I reformated I can't find any option, I got an ATI graphic card but well, I don't have the stuff that's proposed on google!
HALP PALIZE!
(ya, my monitor is a 1920*1080 but I play on 1280*720 to get 75hz)

whatever people do to get higher hz. oh wait i do it aswell, luckily i'm gonna get 120hz monitor in few days HEHEHE :>>:>:>:>:>
Nice! My Eizo could do 140Hz @ 1024.
I paid € 5,-- for that monster but gave it away after a few years.
TFT ftw nowadays

Refreshing rates. What all the fools think a bigger number will actually make them play better... Seriously.
I must say I play a lot better with 120hz than 60 :)
Parent
i prefer playing with r_displayrefresh 0 /75monitor !
Parent
Really? Can it give that big of an edge? Nevertheless I couldnt be bothered with higher hz screens in general.
Parent
if you play on 120 a lot your eyes get pretty much used to it and you will be able to differ between 60 and above eventually. I can see a difference between a 100 Hz tv and 50 Hz
Parent
Yeah I can imagine there is a small diff with 50hz and 100hz in TVs. But frankly dont really care about what advantages it gives to games such as ET.
Parent
me neither. not anymore at least. Flatscreens are the current and the future and I can't imagine playing with such a huge monster anymore. Not even to mention how that looks like.
Parent
yeah true, Im very happy with my 22 inch LCD monitor for the few times a month I bother to play ET anymore.

Stop looking in your videocard settings. You will most likely have to change this in the menu of your monitor. Look for something called "aspect ratio" or something similar. (depends on your monitor IF it supports it and what it's called)
Didn't find any option like this and my ccc doesn't show the option to this.
Parent
then either your monitor is shit and doesn't support displaying 4:3 aspect ratios or you are looking in the wrong place.

either way, you don't have to look at settings in your pc or vidcard control panel or drivers or whatever, because it has nothing to do with those.

K! I FOUND IT! :D Roxx! Thx!
Parent
aah see, you were looking in the wrong place ;)

good that you found it, enjoy!
