Widescreen and et:
I have been using 105 fov and r_mode 6 with a normal 4:3 screen.
I bought a widescreen 22" and i still used r_mode 6 with 105 fov.
I made a change now to play on native resolution becuz NuggaN did change , but it feels alot different, but i can see everything better and more sharp.
I know there was a fov calculator or smht, if u had 105 fov on 4:3 u should use this "fov" for widewscreen to get same feeling.
And how are you guys using your widescreen ? Are u still on 4:3 resolution or are you using widescreen resolution ?
And when you bought your widescreen did you guys change your sensitivity ?
discuzz

u need to know your new resolution
edit: the time i got a new screen i went from 19" tft to 19" crt
same resolution, more hz, shittier colors
shit felt better
From Old FOV: 1.3333333333333:1 aspect = 105 (FOV horizontal)
To New FOV: 1.6:1 aspect = 114.80711848294 (FOV horizontal)
shit 114 fov :D
i guess it becuz 22inch screen kinda big
dont know shit about widescreen, got 1 myself tho
eey maak minimovie voor mij dan :P
heb rifle frags voor je
something like this~
r_mode -1
r_customwidth 1080
r_customheight 1920
cg_fov 90
cg_drawgun 0
when 16:9 i cant win duel cuz of recoil ;p
if u got full hd, then u got 1920x1080
on 4:3 1280x1024 ;p
on long range full hd is fucking awesome, but for duel it sucks for me
it depends on player/fov etc too ;)
is there a way to decrease the recoil with 16:9?
