is my headset broken?

Oke i have the Steelseries 5h v2 ( no usb but i can use it ) so the problem is that its giving really bad sound quallity and when i twist some stuff or hold it at a point it doesnt . so is it broken or not?

Update: it stopped giving sound

Update #2 : found the problem its the begin or the end of the cord at the headset part where it goes in the headset

ye its broken i had that issue also, ended up taping it in some kind of way for like 5 months but then it broke down completely

its most likely that the contact of wire to headset was broken/ not working properly, therefor when u move the wire to different direction u get a bit better sound, normally i was taping it for some period of time before it completely stoped working, so u should buy new ones asap.

Yeah thats cord being rubbish, if youre lucky you might be able to find and fix it into a position where it works via excessive amounts of tape, but probs not :/
