27'' screen too big for gaming?

I'm thinking about replacing my current 22'' screen with a 27'' LED LCD screen.

I want to watch movies, game and work on that screen, I'm quite sure the screen is decent enough for movies, but I'm not so sure about gaming / work. Any experience?

The screen I'm thinking about getting: http://www.euronics.ee/tootekaart_en/40897/Computers_and_phones/Monitors/LS27A550HS%2FEN

definitely. the moment i got my imac 27 i went from bad to way worse. but still wouldnt like to miss the screen size for general office work (you can easily fit two excel spreadsheets side by side without a problem), photoshopping or watching movies.
i think that it should be a matter of big and small which is best in this situation
ik vind jou best een knappe jongen weet je dat;)

I dislike playing shooters on a big screen, for everything else its very nice :)
you could always play games windowed with a smaller resolution, so itd just sit in the centre, but thats only a half fix. a big screen sounds worth it though for other stuff
One screen is so 2007. Take both.
I'm playing ET at a 27' screen at a resolution of 1920*1080. Could anyone tell me why it's bad? Just make sure that you don't sit to close to your screen. The distance between me and my screen is about 1.5m this means that my field of sight just covers the whole screen and a little bit more(like screen+1 cm around it).
19" 4:3 for life! 6 years and still working well :)
I had one for about 3-4 years. It is good indeed.
But you'll notice an amazing difference if you get a 24"+ 16:9 screen.
I bought one 2 christmas ago and it's a whole new gaming experience :)

I'm playing games on a 26 inch screen atm. And I really like it! If I play WoW it's even more awesome! and if I play ET the heads seem bigger =D, just get used to it and pwn!
Just move it further away from your chair...
i've got a 27 one
