Anything worth to see there? Any recommendations where to get something to eat?

i study in ghent and also have a student appartment here

Yeah I'm about to visit a friend who started studying there this semester. Blaarmeersen doesn't sound too bad but I plan to go the sea to chill. It's only an hour from Gent. :)

yup studying + got my student appartment over here

you can get a decent meal almost anywhere in Gent ...

plenty to see as well : Gravensteen , Graslei , SMAK , ...
and if you happen to get a chance to go to Gent during
the 'Gentse Feesten' you won't regret it, great asmosphere
all over.

It's not always that easy to judge where to get good food and where it's just overprized rubbish sold to tourists. :)

Gravensteen and Graslei look good, and they're right in the city. Neat! Too late for Gentse Feesten I guess, but maybe next year.

Go eat @ Lepelblad (street = onderbergen)

one of Ghent's best places (not too expensive, great food!)
