BF3 + GPU

Is Asus AMD Radeon HD 6870 (915MHz / 1050MHz GDDR5) enough to play BF3 on decent FPS or should I go for Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 560TI which seems to be a bit better (900MHz / 1050MHz GDDR5). Note that 560TI is around 50euros more expensive. Does anyone have any experiences between these 2 cards?

Then again which card would be better in the long run? I could get another HD 6870 later if needed but is it possible have two GTX 560TIs too? :3

gtx 580 phantom 3gb would be better
I've got 6850 + i5 @ 4,5Ghz and everything goes fine on ULTRA settings
The cards are both good. You also can think about an HD6950.

For Battlefield 3 all these cards will run it fine in about High (If your CPU and RAM are good enough).

The GTX560ti is a bit faster, and a bit more expensive. Both are good choices.

On the demo you can play it on Ultra, but Ultra in the Beta is not the same as Ultra in the final game. But I guess you should play it in about high.

Yes you can get two GTX560's too, but its not needed for now, and will cost a shitload of power, so you prob need a new power supply.

Just buy an 6870, 6950 or GTX560 and you will have a good card for a good price.
well yeah HD6950 and GTX560TI are the same price range but if it was between those two I think I would go for GTX560TI.

I got AMD Phenom II X4 955BE @ 3,2GHz as CPU and 8gb of RAM. Also my PSU was over my needs (XFX 650W Core edition 80+ Bronze) so don't think that would be a problem but thanks for the info :)

For two GTX560's you need 700/800W Power supply.

I think two 6870's can run on a 650W.

Btw, 6950 is a little bit faster then gtx560

but GTX560TI got better FPS in the beta than HD6950 what comes to the new drivers from both AMD and Nvidia. But i rly dont know if i should stick with HD6870 or choose gtx560ti or hd6950.. would it rly be worth the money?

Its not reallly 'worth the money', its a little bit faster but dont thikn its worth the 50euro's. You can easly compare it yourself, google 6870 benachmarks or something like that or 6870 review and you can see the fps on different games.

If you have the money, you can buy a 6950/560, they are faster, but it's not a huge difference.

Just chose one, all cards are great and nice deals ;)

i dont have problems to play bf3 (at least the beta which will be optimized anyway) with my hd6870, but if you could go for a better one which is not that much more expensive, i would definitely go for it!
with what kind of settings do you play and what is your fps? cuz those 2 other cards are here 50-60e more expensive than hd6870 and im not sure if im willing to pay that in case there isn't notable difference.
