few .cfg questions

there are few things which annoy me a bit, maybe you know a solution:
1 is there a cmd to disable et to play the intro?
2 when I open the console with ^ it is automatically the first character, can one remove that with a bind or so? I also binded the console on t, but it won't open with t in the main menu..
3 typing an umlaut like ä, ö, ü gets just displayed as a dot in the chat, while it gets shown correctly when others type one..why? :S

EDIT: Ah, when writing to console, no can do. Do it via chat-mode.
E2: Change the "bind xxx toggleconsole" to some other than ^

Didn't try it execing a cfg file but ingame it will work.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain\demos
there should be an "intro" video file or something in there, just delete it :)
