So basically I've got to make an essay around gamevertising, I'm nearly finished but I was just wondering if any of you guys have a strong opinion about this, or if you have any special / interesting examples that I could add as fait-divers.

ubisoft launched a campaign a few years ago, giving away far cry and other games for free (included ads). don't think it went that well, maybe you can get some numbers (# of downloads and whatnot).
dno if i got the term "gamevertising" right though.
