Hello cf-pc specialists
i have a new router (bbox2 belgacom) and the connection is wpa2-psk encrypted, when i enter my key it doesnt connect, is it possible that my networkcard doesnt support wpa2?
If so can i simply update the card by installing new drivers or should i change my router encryption to wpa-psk ?

I had a similar problem once and never digged enough to figure out the problem, although changing to some other system like wpa worked fine ^^

and usually under the root there is a paper saying the ip / pw etc etc.. or check the manual (at internet for example)
try wpa1
How to gain acces to your router:

Connect directly so wired to your router. Open IE or firefox or w/e. Enter gateway adress.
If you don't know the ip of the router you can try clicking start-->run-->then type cmd and click "OK". In the command prompt type: ipconfig and press "Enter" on the keyboard. If there's a "gateway address" that will the the number to type after http:// in your browser.
Login......Profit.
Could be that your network card doesn't support WPA2 like you stated but in my personal experience I've had old computers connected via WiFi with that encryption. What kOEKJE said is the best work around to see if it's just a bad pw or if it's really a non-supported card.
