bro!
basically, got a a while ago (gay name, good phone), and i feel like i am not using it to its fullest potential.
i have a few questions about what i can do on Android
1) can i download apps on the internet (@ my pc), plug my phone in, put them on my SD card and they will work? or do i have to get them off the market?
2) any easy way to free up memory? mine only has 150mb internal, and i have moved everything that is humanely possible to SD (using appmonster app2SD, or whatever its called) and i still only have ~10mb max spare. any way to clear some huge shit without uninstalling the essentials?
3) write any cool things you can do with android here that would interest me!
hope you are having a lovely afternoon CF!
ps - dont want to 'jailbreak' or anything like that, try to keep it fairly legit :)
cu on!

EDIT: Dunno if you can run programs straight from SD, I would think that they would run way slower that way. But if not, then there is no problem.
Cool and Android doesn't work along, aspecially when theres things in the middle
however, a minor downside for me was the detachable cable which was just a little uncomfortable for me I've also read the early batches came with a high defect rate, but that problem has already been resolved i guess
EDIT: And by BG I mean GB.
I got way enough with 16 :D
2) try 1-free-cleaner (or smth like that)
3) too much to write it now :D
thx bro
There is a plugin called "chrome to phone" available for the google chrome and firefox browser (fox to phone)
with this installed, and the android app on your phone (get it from the market) you can easily send links to your phone. this way you can easily send a link to the correct .apk to your phone and it will start downloading and it will be ready to install.
annother way i use is dropbox. just put the apk on your dropbox and download the apk from your phone there is also a dropbox app available in the android market
i think that would be your internal storage as thats where your browser usually stores files.
the function you speak of, does not exist (or at least, as far as i am aware)
