high gfx games?

As I'm getting my new laptop soon I wonder what high graphics games I could try out on it? Are the any 3d games btw?

So far I only downloaded Crysis 2.

what kind of sick twisted, murdering psychopath plays games on a laptop. I hope at least you have a separate screen which is at head level or you will have a lot of back and neck problems for the rest of your life.

you know there are things that you can put under other things so that the things are higher :> and yes I have a 2nd screen but I prefer the 120hz 3d screen of the laptop.

playing on my laptop since 2008.

no why should it? I have some little "glas table" under my laptop (under that table is the hdmi splitter, all the cables, router and when I need place I put my keyboard under it). So my laptop (as well as my second screen) have the perfect position in height and distance.

Ye ofc I have an external keyboard.. but no I play shooters on my touchpad <3

there are around 15 different (user)reviews on the temps.. the laptop has incredible low temps and even the fans are not as noise as on a normal pc, fuck yes ! :>

@edit: and actually I haven't read for ages about some (gaming)laptop overheating. As long as you know what to buy.

it has never been about the specs. Laptops weren't made for games. The overheat can damage or reduce the lifetime of some components around, and do not tell me about this things with fans to put under laptop because they are bullshit...

never had to use a laptop cooler (those fans under the laptop), never had any overheating problems, never read of any overheating problems as long as you dont buy some crap like acer.

@edit: I used about 2 years a laptop as my home-server running 24/7 doing converting , unpacking, downloading, seeding ,etc the whole time. At our school we used a laptop as internet hub/switch for 5 years (running 24/7). I really never had problems with any laptops. Today my father brought some thinkpad home from work.. was in the "server room" for serveral years (pretty hot in there) running 24/7 to manage the servers and it still works just fine.

crysis was the only "high grafics game" I've played so far, but if you want to go even further, try the addon/crysis 2 or whatever it is..

witcher 2.. isn't is some kind of diablo2/dragon age game? Why does it have so high gfx reqs? :o Is the game itself nice as well? :P

Diablo 2 and Dragon Age aren't really alike.

The Witcher somewhat like Dragon Age I suppose.
