Importing appdata.

On windows 7 I'm trying to import my appdata for ventrilo and firefox, but when i do it doesn't register it for some reason, any suggestions helpful crossfire community?

User\Appdata\Roaming is that the right path?

Usually i take all the folders i want from C:\Users\Bruno\AppData\Local and C:\Users\Bruno\AppData\Roaming

Works perfectly here for every program.

Ventrilo and vent are roaming right?

This has worked every other time I have done it, except for this time. No clue why.

Well, did you replace the folder while using vent or any other program?
Did you install program after paste the folder or before?

Erm, I replaced the current folder with my backup one. Didn't work when I overwrote it.

However when I deleted it and then pasted it in it did work. Is there some feature of windows 7 to do with overwriting data I need to turn off?

I already turned off UAC.

I can't remember exactly, maybe you are overwriting wrongly? xD there is always 2 messagebox when you overwrite something, make sure you do a full replace!

Have you tried copying the folder in?
