TF2 crashing after yesterday's patch

Anyone else experiencing "hl2.exe has stopped working" after the yesterday's TF2 patch? I also played a bit The Witcher which has worked perfectly before but now after some playing it also crashed :S

Ive played around 100 hours of TF2 before the latest update and it's been working perfectly :P

Yes, same thing. The patch was big, so includes a decent amount of bugs .exe crashing, keyboard locking up when trying to chat, misc items not cliping, etc.
