Got a problem with maya 2012. Out of nothing it started performing like shit sliding through a funnel, and can't find any fixes for it on google.
I mean, I've literally been googling for two hours now and all ppl can say is "might be your gfx drivers", which is plain bullshit cuz I'm running on an Intel HD onboard gfx card. Now don't say this is the problem, because many other people with completely different setups and NASA pc's are experiencing the same, plus this just started happening out of nothing, also on objects with really few polygons. Where previously it would perform fine with scenes with tens- to hunderd-thousands of polygons it's now completely fucked up nearly every time.
I've read that it could be my virusscanner so I deïnstalled it, didn't work. I've disabled the windows tablet services and removed my wacom drivers. My display settings are on single display since I don't even have a second monitor. I've installed all Maya 2012 hotfixes and the latest service pack, doesn't work either.
I really need this fixed as I've got a shitload of work to do for school and I've got no time to lose. This is really driving me mad, I'm frustrated beyond imagination...
My rig:
CPU: Intel Core I3 540
Mobo: ASUS P7H57D-V EVO
Memory: 4GB
GFX: Intel HD
OS: Windows 7 64bit
edit: for those demanding a chick for help:
edit2: Just exported the entire lagging scene as an .OBJ and imported in max 2012, where everything works just dandy... WHAT THE FUCK MAYA, WHAT THE FUCK. Imma just continue working on it in Max now although I totally suck ass at that program, so help would still really be appreciated.
edit3: The cause of the problem seems to be in faces oriënted the wrong way, messing up my model and thus Maya. Weird though that the program still works like an ass after I've used the cleanup tool. Any ideas on this?

im very sorry that i didnt know it
So your problem is, that the program slows down very hard and you cant work properly?
Sometimes i got the same problem on Photoshop. What to do? You can set something like a limit for the RAM which is used by the program. Just set it higher and your computer will manage to peform better without any lags. It also helps to delete some unnecessary stuff on your HD...
well at least i tried to help :S
I can help you ;)
