Bought Lee Sin, is awesome. Exactly the sort of champion I love, with a great skillset for juking and elusive playing. Also a bruiser type guy, which I also like.
Stomped normal games with a friend or two all day, he playing lane Shaco and me as Lee. Rolled hard. Also expecting someone to whine about Shaco+LeeSin lane soon after this post.
Should really continue playing ranked, though, but it's so god damn frustrating to constantly lose because of a shit team. I don't think I've really ever had negative stats in a ranked game I've lost, unless I've made the mistake of playing a tank or otherwise sacrificed myself for the team a lot. The one that finally made me snap with the retarded ELO system was a Kassadin game where I was like 5/1/9 in 15 minutes, ganked the shit out of side lanes to ensure they wouldn't feed, and then we lost because of two leavers.
They really should hand out ELO points based on other factors than whether you lose or win a game. I mean, it's solo ranked, so it ought to rate your individual performance, not the combined performance of you and your randomly selected teammates.
Well both teams will get an equal amount of retards over a certain amount of games. If you consider yourself a good player and not a retard that means your team will have a bigger chance of winning.
Both teams will also get an equal amount of the few good players around over a certain amount of games, sometimes turning it into a fight of who manages to get fed fastest and is lucky enough to not have the feeding botlane retards quit.
Perhaps the climbing will eventually happen, but the timespan might just be way too long for my limited patience.
It's especially retarded when you're last pick and the polaks on your team have already picked everything but support "because we can't support baww". In such situations you have two choices, either to pick a support yourself and prepare for extreme facepalming when the dork you're babysitting in botlane dies all the time and doesn't farm, or pick a carry yourself and risk getting eaten if the enemy has a decent botlane. Kind of a lose-lose situation.
Some games are about luck but if you consider yourself of a higher rank than the elo you're in you will have to perform to get out. Just play more games if you really want to gain a higher rating. You'll even get better doing it.
shitgame ,peace

Just play more and you'll rise in rating.
