The main problem if Greece defaults on its loans,is that the people that are owed the €100 billion odd,are banks in Germany,France etc,and when this happened in Ireland,we the taxpayers have ended up paying for the banks losses.Which is bollix,Ireland is now seriously messed up for a full generation.

Switzerland has put a limit on the amount its currency can increase in value,I think about 1.3 to the €,this was done recently to stop people investing their money in safe currencies like the swiss franc,and selling potentially weak currencies like the €.When investors do this,the swiss franc increases in value,and makes their exports more uncompetitive,and the value of the € decreases.

ur right, but the downturn for still euroholding countries (not for the eu itself as organization) would be more or less reduced to their export business (which is especially for germany not that ideal) on the other hand all imports of whatever goods become way cheaper for euro holding countries.
if greece would leave the euro zone for example their new introduced currency would get rated till zero - which would be a total faceroll for them.

but also dont forget all euro holding countries already have really huge amount of debts and just spending billions on greeece, finanzed with new credits (aka debts) by these countries wont help greece or anybody else.. its just a delaying things and maybe makes them worse as they are already if theres not a brilliant idea of someone soon.
to be honest... no one knows how things will develop and which way is now the right one to choose. but as soon as spain/italy or even france getting near to a situation like greece or ireland are, the euro failed.

Opposite situation in what? I dont think that from all of the sudden everybody is working hard to get Greece on feet again. Now they are just protesting because government wants (or already put, dunno) to put an end into their lazy life.

because those reforms consist on giving money to the banks and those banks are the ones that created the financial crisis and who got them into this problem, and now they shud give em more money? pls fuck them.
