Quite nice, though they are too late. But they are almost back at track now.
The pricing is nice compared to most other smartphones, and I'm actually quite optimistic about the OS.

Still, what I really ache for is the new N9. I mean, MeeGo, fuck yeah. It's a shame I can't spend hundreds of euros on such devices. Not that I would really need them either, though.
Even Nokia says MeeGo is already dead :P

Thats why they release the N9 with Windows Phone now

Well, it's only dead because they don't (can't...) support it officially, really. From what I've read, it received critical acclaim.
I admit, I like it because it's Linux.
Parent
Ye but they had to chose between money (windows) and conscience

I have an n900 running maemo (and maybe one day it will run meego) and yes it is pretty awesome.

The phone I really want though is the n950 ( http://thenokiablog.com/2011/06/21/nokia-n950-developers/ ) but it's only available to developers, runs meego, has a qwerty keyboard, if it had the amoled display it would be perfect. Too many phones are taking this fully touchscreen angle now, fucking sucks.
Parent
Have had my n900 for little bit over a month now, don't have complains yet. And cheap as soap, 80€ from buddy, still has warranty etc. 32GB storage <3

About n950, seems more like image: Nokia_E7_o1 than n9. E7 is nice, few friends have it.

And another edit, if I manage to somehow break n900 now (under warranty ofc), I will get e7 to replace it since n900 isn't manufactured anymore.
Parent
i'm hoping they still have some stock available, i want to make the usb connection "broken" before warranty runs out to get a new one (mine is really terrible at overclocking/undervolting)

Best phone. I really love Maemo, it would be the perfect platform if they ironed out some (very small) kinks. Sadly not going to happen. Although I've been told developing for it using Qt is a pain, but I haven't done that myself so I wouldn't know.

For the same reasons I'd love to have Meego, it sounds even better. The only con with the N9 would be the lack of a physical keyboard, but I imagine I could deal with it.
Parent
Had a touch-screen-only-phone for a month or so, oh how I hated it. Won't ever even consider of having another one.
Parent
yeah, nice price and stuff, looks is also pretty nice, gg wp nokia :P
I'm slightly confused as to why the Windows Phone is the one with less RAM when from what I heard MeeGo was supposed to be able to run better on less resources... Other than that if it had a slightly larger screen it would be a fantastic phone I bet
Nokia falling back to old habbits :p
1 GB would do really good for multitasking
Parent
WP7 is fucking ace, had it for a year now.
Looks goddamn awesome, gotta update my E7 and C7 soon to some of the newer Nokia phones :P
E7

nice

btw, is a nokia cheaper in finland :p?
Parent
I think Finland has the most expensive Nokia phones in the world, actually, because of taxes.
Taxes that were created in the 80's as a "temporary measure" or something, yet are still active.
Finnish government strong.
Parent
import your own phones then :D
Parent
It's been done :)
Parent
nah, expensive as shit :D But im not going to buy any other phone than Nokia.

QuoteThe 200 includes an Easy Swap option that lets you throw in multiple SIM cards, and can offer up to 32GB of storage for media playback -- 52 hours of it, in fact ... available for €60

And a full QWERTY keyboard? See this is where Nokia shines and still manages to keep a pretty large marketshare despite losing out in the smartphone arena every day. I have a couple of old Nokias I keep around just for backup/to do risky things with and they are like tanks. Although I'm not in the market for a new dumbphone, I wouldn't go anywhere except Nokia.
Was thinking about buying a nokia c3-00 2 weeks ago but that Nokia 303 looks perfect for my needs
Parent
ja, looks okay. price?
Parent
verwacht: €115

1GHz CPU, 3.2MP camera and 3G
Parent
looks awesome tbh!

gonna buy one when I break my Galaxy S2 :--d
have to say i really like the looks of the L710 (specially the blueback/whitefront version)
I prefer the Lumia 800
even if they sort of have the same specs

Let's hope WP is better than WM.
