dude on right puts 20$ in and pays 30$ for box, gets 40$ from the box -> hes spent 50$ and gained 40$ -> -10$

dude on left puts 20$ in and gets 30$ from selling -> spent 20$, gained 30$ -> +10$

the troll is that the right one buys a box with 40$ for 30$ -> 10$ profit, but hes actually spent 20$ earlier =P
