Succesful Products v81

Hey

I'm kind of stuck at a task for uni, it's quite simple really but I can't think of anything. Basically I'm looking for a product that was succesfully exported to another country ( as in, great number of sales in the new country etc ).

I don't mean a product like the Ipad that just overran the entire world, I'm looking for products that were specifically marketed in an/each individual country.

Thanks in advance.

vw marketing for the us:

europe: golf => us: bora/jetta
europe: passat layout => us layout (prolly most recent example of local vw marketing)

this works basically with every car producing company.. different regional tastes find different designs

Thanks, I'll use that one.

It was not hard to find succesful products at all, but seeing that I have to present my case for a group of 40-60 people I had to find something more or less unknown so there wouldn't be bloody tryhards in that class who had the same product as me ( and who would have done a better job at presenting it :D)

sounds like a survey more than actually being uninspirational since every single guy on cf could come up with an answer

you definitly have the richest sigma group which is 40-60 years old and willing to spend a lot of money. since there are sooooo many luxary goods, it would really be a coincidence if someone else picked the same product as you did.
