New phone

Well, I'm used to Palm Pre 'quality'. It's just a big chunk of cheap plastic, so even the Nexus S would be an improvement for me, especially on the screen.

However I gotta say that the HTC phones feel incredibly solid compared to all of the plastic Samsung phones (even the super expensive ones feel cheap). But on the software side the Nexus is probably the phone that serves me best. Don't really plan on rooting/modding it right from the start (warrenty etc.) and I'm sure I could not live with the fact that there are phones with 4.0 out there and I'm still stuck on 2.3 somthing.
Was the same with the Pre, when they discontinued the support with newer webOS versions :-(

Nono, it's 199 @ Neckermann.at (which doesn't send to Germany and is currently out of stock), without contract.

The cheapest offer from .at that actually sends it here would be around 228 Euro, which is basically the same price as the current cheapest German offer (+8 Euro), so it's not really worth the hassle (especially since there could be arguments about warrenty with foreign bills etc).

However I'm coming over to Austria for a weekend in december and there is a shop in Innsbruck listing it at 218, so if they got it stocked at that time, I'll buy it from there directly.

Cause it's twice as expensive and as much as I'd like to have it, I can't afford it :-(

Still bit more than a month to christmas or a little longer to the new years offers. Might get lucky but I doubt it will be getting any closer to my budget :)
