Hey guys,
since I'm still playing on an 8 years old AOC 17" TFT (75 Hz), I was wondering if the average standard of your pc monitors is like 22 / 23 inch nowadays or are there still guys playing with a 15 / 17 or 19" screen?
Btw is the difference between 75 and 120 Hz worth to buy a new screen?
Grtzzzz

you could get the LG W2363D for like 150€ but now it disappeared from practically every webshop who was offering it for that low price.
Every other 22/23" screen with 120Hz costs like 300€ or more...
Since ET is the only game I play at pc, I don't want to spend like 300euro or more for just a screen... On the other hand, my current 17" is a bit small and I get bored of it after 7 or 8 years ^^
You should check amazon.de
you can get decent monitors for less than 300 euro easily.
2. Yes, I can't reach 120hz with this monitor and that's a shame. On the other hand you have to know that 75 hz is definitely enough to play ET with. ( Expecting random arguments from the 12hz users and I'll say this : I know it's a lot better but for ET 75hz is enough. )
other question is just the difference between 17inch and 23 or 24 inch (not considering the Hz). Is it much better to play on a screen that's 5" bigger?
The 17th just felt right :D
But for regular internet browsing and movie/series watching. Well I dont need to tell you which one is way way better :D ( Hint, it's one with two same numbers ;) )
And 24" is too big because if you're too close to your screen it's less effective.. You should check out like the best distance to be away from a screen with relation to the size of it!
For bigger screen I have 32' TV.
And yes its worth to buy 120Hz monitor, if you play a lot of games. But worthless when you use it most for office stuff. And difference is more than noticeable.
but thinking about buying a new one, should be 23" or max 24"
normally i dont want to spend 300eus, but i want to have 120hz :D
Don't have it myself, but I play sometimes at a friends house & the feeling is just completely better.
I would go for the LG W2363D or BenQ XL2410T or Acer GN245HQBMID or Asus VG236H..
27" is a bit too much at my opinion, so I stay around 22-23" when testing :)
jammer anders hadk die wel willen kopen, stond ergens aan 146eur
I should give an answer too...
Froxe said it correctly, it can look pretty big on your desk too so you want a monitor that you are satisfied with.
cant hit shit in ego shooters.
also inb4 people can't see the difference between 120hz and lower hz numbers
