PB + et crash

Hi, I've recently tried to play on jaymod or etpro PB servers. The thing is I cannot make it happen. Every time I update the PB my ET doesn't want to start up, it crashes before the intro vid comes in. Deleting PB folder or not updating it at all (having a clean install of ET) works but I'm getting kicked from a server for not having it updated (logically).

not updated pb -> impossiblity of playing on pb servers -> no more fun in the game

Any help? :( Your help will be more than appreciated (reward for kind people)!

I do have an etkey, I just want to update PB and don't have my ET crashed or play on pb servers without being kicked for not updated PB

Does it mean there is no way to play on PB servers now if I didn't update it before they stopped supporting ET?

Not really, when I managed to start up my ET, I started getting kicked for emtpy cdkey. I had it orginally but I generated it again and then it kicks me for this: http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/9578/etpberroroa7.jpg

This PB is too damn annoying when it comes to solving problems

there's plenty of nonpb jaymod servers

For me - yes. There are more friendly people on servers for beginners or for people who are really inactive than on TZAC pubs nowadays. Especially, when you find a server that you enjoy playing on

Use "pbsetup.exe" from evenbalance's homepage to install punkbuster properly.
