Croatian Festivals?

Anyone has any experience with these?

Me and a few friends are thinking of going to Outlook 2012 (Pula) to finish off summer before Uni starts up again.

Have you been to a croatian festival? Which? How was it? Where was it?

Terraneo festival near Sibenik this summer. Really great just an awesome vibe & loads of cute girls. People's English wasn't great but that doesn't really matter wi drinks & music. Do it Croatia is great!

We went to Split and Vis and Zagreb in Croatia last time, I'd probably be travelling in Germany and them BOMBING it down from Munich to meet up with friends in Croatia :D

Split, Zagreb for a day & Sibenik for me. I really loved Split. The main beach was beautiful and the rockier one sweet for a drink n swim. Basically the med without Brits which be lovely...

Split was really nice due to the food, I didnt really like the city apart from the Roman quarter, though. We were in a really awful hostel too.

Did the port smell like eggs to you? :D

Dude, so nostalgia.

Having kinda hard time right now without such fucking amazing things to look forward to, if I ever end up in Vis again, im most certainly throwing you a message.

iirc last year's lineup for Outlook was fucking sublime. I'd love to go but could never get anyone to come with me so I just do as much belgian festivals as possible.

don't you think that'd be a tad awkward? :D travelling across Europe to go with a festival with people you've never met. What date is the festival tho? Might find someone to go with me and we could have a drink

Haha, you know what? I'd be more than happy to do that though.

A drink would be a good alternative.

I guess it'll be mid/late september or something. So check your school dates if you still attend (community is getting old!)

yep! September is my free month actually! (I'm studying Dutch/French/English at uni atm btw) Would have to see who I'd get along with me :D

If you ever plan on doing a belgian festival (Pukkelpop and especially Dour Festival are my favorites), we can have a beer aswell

Try going to Serbia, they are holding the biggest easteren european festival each year, stars like pendulum, prodigy etc are common there. It's one of the wildest festivals i've been to.

I heard atmospehere on Outlook is awesome, probably the most successful festival this year in Croatia(atmosphere,place,near sea, a lot of ppl from all over, etc..).

The "biggest" festival in last 5-6 years is definitely T-Mobile INMusic festival that is held in June in Zagreb,which wasn't at its best this year but I'm looking forward for 2012 edition. You can check lineups from previous years here: http://www.inmusicfestival.com/
Some pretty popular bands attended and I'd suggest you to go for it.

There is also Terraneo festival that was held in Sibenik and eventhough it was decent this year I think Outlook was better(atleast from the people I talked with)

So my choices would be:
1. INmusic
2. outlook
3. terraneo

there are some smaller ones available also,but dont think its worth mentioning it now

i was at lost theory this year, it was a small psy trance festival and it was very nice =)
