Those spotlights they make for characters, there is always a part where there is some explanation about what he is doing and why but what the hell is the extra that i get from that? the things he does tell are just basics and some very situational decisions also some handy info about items and such but nothing more than this.

What in my eyes it comes down to is just some nerd man telling what he is doing and making it look like you can actually learn from it by saying it in a explaining way.


i dont know if this is the same in all videos but the ones i saw were all like this and i have no idea if i am the only one that sees it this way.

altho i think no LoL player is gonna confirm this cause i bet he was watching like this thinking he was learning some useful stuff:

Builds are mostly shit and Phreak often fails in the videos. Still watching all sportlights to see how the spells work

what rly grinds my gears is that playing dota2 now i dont even know half of the mechanics, no heroes and no items and those damn HoN nerds who kept bragging with their dead game know 90% of all that stuff.
damn man if only i had not gone for the casual shit version of dota in the first place

Wont be hard to learn Dota2 I guess ;) But the heroes I have seen so far are either old DOTA heroes, or HoN heroes alike.

it's hard transitioning from hon to.... auto attacks land way slower, so last hitting is harder and dota 2 is hard in general, because in dota 2 all the effects, for example runes or phase boots aren't shown at all. need to adapt, but this game has alot of potential.
