ye check my soundcloud. think you'll prolly won't like any of them though since I'm still learning (though I see progression throughout my songs). Plus I don't really conform to what's hip, I just do my own thing and most people don't seem to like it, so be it.
yup, sidechained my bass and vocals to several synths.
not a hero at it though and my sound system is dramatically lowskilled (some random €80 home cinema set), so I don't really hear the impact of the compression on my uber- highs and lows which makes it rather hard.
that's nice and all but I didn't add any limiting to the track. might have messed up my frequencies a bit though which may cause the effect you're referring to.
e: thx though cuz I didn't know that yet (no sarcasm, I really didn't :( )
well what i mean is that looking at your track you can tell that it is uniform.
try to create louder and quiter parts and distinguish the sounds from each other.
"your bar is just too full"

if so then.. FL studio (:D), but when my exams are over in like 2 weeks I'll start praccing ableton live.. and I use Massive ofc and some FL's own plugins.
