Boot problem

My desktop PC wont boot anymore.
I am having this problem for a while, but when I kept on trying atleast he would start.
So yesterday when i tried to turn my PC on, he didn't do anything like usual, but now when I keep trying he just wont boot anymore.
So I opend my case and tried to boot again, but there was a red light shining on my gfx card.
I dont know if that has anything to do with it, but I was just wondering.

6 months ago I contacted the store where I orderd it, and told them to have a look at it.
They called me and told me everything was fine, they where able to just boot my PC up and everything was working...

Is my gfx card broken?

vid_restart bug
whats his name?
my vid card (4830) also has a red light, its normal

try booting without your videocard installed
So I should just remove my gfx card and boot my pc ?
Parent
never did it before, but i'll give it a try tonight :)

Test by removing the graphics card and the memory, then give the whole. If the problem persists, i believe well that the motherboard died.
+1, could also be the CPU or the PSU tho

So I should remove the gfx card & my memory and try to boot again?
Parent
remove, reinstall, boot.

close curtains... looks like a sniper is on the roofs
HEY, check if the fan on your gfx card works correctly, the red light (atleast on my gfx card) indicates overheat protection. My fan didnt work some while back and it didnt let me boot my pc coz of that. Could also be a power issue, caused by PSU or mobo, try testing the card on some other pc.

D1601 - Over temp protection enabled

D1602 - EXT 12V fault

check which led it is
The lights are both burnig..
D1601 & D1602
What I noticed this time is that the fan on my card isn't cooling..
Thats the reason prolly?

Yes, then it's either your PSU or motherboard, try taking the card of the pc and clean the pcie slot if that helps, doubt it tho.

I had similar problem once - one of the psu connectors wasn't attached to the mobo. Check them as well.
Parent
ok thanks :)

1. paint the red light with green marker
2. reboot
3. ???
4. PROFIT!
format maybe
Does it give a blank screen for u? Or some error code?
just when I boot I get a black screen, but there is also no signal that the screen is ready, my screen keeps on giving an orange light, instead of a blue one

Then its pretty sure its ur graphic card. Remove it and try booting with integrated one.
