PS3 vs Xbox 360

I'm thinking about buying a game console to enjoy a few games with my mates on a slow night.

What are your experiences with either or both of the systems?

My general idea is to enjoy a few nice games and perhaps stream a few 720/1080p movies from my PC, so any thoughts about that are also appreciated. On top of that, how large of a HDD should I look for (if I don't plan on storing any videos on the device itself).

I will go for the PS3 = Stronger hardware, free to go online, blue ray, but a bit more expensive.

Some exclusive-games + the controller's are personal for everybody.

Cheaper than upgrading my PC. The only part where my PC hangs is gaming, so upgrading for gaming only vs buying a console where more than 1 person can play = should be win.

To be honest, no. Only the Unreal Engine favors the XBOX 360. Every other engine is almost identical on both systems emphasizing both systems strong points. Just check eurogamer.net and have a look at their recent face-offs.

All in all xbox360 works better than ps3. ps3 has free internet gaming shit but on xbox360 it works better x)

You should get a ps3 because the online game service is free and there are some nice games
