resolution problems

for some reason my screen wont go full size even when i do the custom h and w anybody know why it does this and anyway around it i hate playing with to bloack squares either side of my screen (rectangles)

theres a command for allowing it. haven't done cfg's in years so i don't remember the full command. it should be there somewhere

Adjust the settings of your video card driver program. There must be something that controls what will happen, if the screen has other dimensions than the monitor. Atm your settings won't stretch the image to fullscreen.
