Need someone who can install & configure OpenVPN on my dedicated server (debian 6) via teamviewer ofc :P
Mainly want to have OpenVPN as some kind of proxy/ssh tunnel so that I can use it only for my browser/mail/msgr/irc/ftp stuff (no need to encrypt my ET/quakelive/... connections :P)
Can offer a few € or bnc,webspace,VPN,mail,...

edit: out of curiosity, where's the dedi located? If it by any chance has an US or canadian IP, I'd be interested in setting it up for you in exchange for a small shell.
I would rather say that it's stupid not to do as a simple VPN (= smth like a proxy) can prevent all that.
Besides that you can also bypass the firewall at school/work with OpenVPN to visit blocked sites (works with programs like ultrasurf as well but the speed sucks) or play games.
Also who cares about pws n stuff? The important stuff uses https (facebook..mail...bank account... etc etc), everything else is random.
No matter what you do, your will always be exposed :)
And if your school allows such thing, well.. good network pros there. At my university i can't even sniff any decent packet... they have some kind of system to prevent this.
you can also sniff when https is used.. yes even my mobile phone can sniff https://facebook or paypal. No it's not hard to do.
No idea how you would want to prevent that.. atleast I can't think of anything where printer / file sharing would still work.
And ye, faceniff is awesome to mess up with people at uni / caffés :DDD But it doesn't work if you are logged with https protocol, atleast at facebook. Check if for yourself.
Why would you want to play with a proxy or encrypted network? More lag?
Playing over encrypted network at school > playing not at all because its blocked by the school ?
And btw faceniff coder says that it doesn't work with networks using EAP, but it works and my university and it uses EAP lulz :D although it's bloody slow to search
Besides that.. what if someone cracks your wifi (not really possible with the right configuration) and sniffs in your home network?
It's not a isse here, my neighbors do not have pcs or even if they do, they are my family/cousins and they don't know how to such things :DDDD win win
(...suppose you're talking about wifi only hmm? fair enough. but anyone using that for banking, combined with a weak key is just being lazy :P)
