dunno if it fits ur criteria but i recently watched death note (some anime about a notebook killing people, sounds stupid but its rly nice) and atm im watching the shield, sort of old, but ive not seen it before, and it got 6 or 7 seasons ;)

ye its about a badass cop, doing the police work with lets say, he does not do it the way he should xD

and also some friends told me "the west wing" is nice, saw the first episode, didnt rly like it, just not my style, its about the white house and stuff, not rly into it, but u could try it ;)

Well I guess I cant watch Dexter because killing people for justice isnt such a great idea for me.

Plus psychopaths and sociopaths dont interact with the world so superbly like Dexter does. That's why I cant watch it. watched almost the entire first season though.
