Ok so i have this problem for a while.
I have paid for a 40mbps connection, which in the beginning i had. Soon it dropped to 0.76mbps. The reason back then was Ziggo because of the new modem. Well after a while it got "solved" everybody in this house gets 40 mbps except for me.
I use wireless but this should not really be a problem only the settings maybe?
i tried:
reset router
reset modem
hardcore reset modem
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset catalog (reset winsock entries)
netsh int ip reset reset.log hit (reset TCP/IP stack)
So after doing the netsh resets when i rebooted i got a nice connection noticed by my torrents. So i was happy 3 mins later i went to speedtest.net and get the awesome 0.76 again and my torrent dropped to 100kb/s instead of the 4.7mb i reached once and the normal 3-3.5 steady.
If anyone can help me pleas i would appreciate it. help me here or contact on irc /q FGH`Halidith

e.g. sending a file from your laptop to another client in the network
just give it a try i'd say, what's more to lose than a few minutes of your time?! :)
its all going in motherboard ports btw not any special network card
wireless is via usb network reciever
those usb-network devices sometimes tend to either overheat or to simply spam the usb port far too excessive, you could either try a different usb port, but it's pretty safe to say, that it's just your usb-device i'm afraid
otherwise yep, you should, though i can't tell you if there are any products worth buying ;)
is nowadays up to 500mbit afaik, though those cost more than the 80mbit ones, which, if you're not really using your lan, just your inet, you could certainly use those instead
it's just using normal sockets and lets you use those as lan port (you obviously need 2, one in your room and one at the router)
well i think everything is fixed if i reinstall anyway;p
