CB admins and stuff...

tl;dr version for lazy people 1.-Goldorak stole our rank 1 on the 2on2 ladder because he wanted, and he gave it to webe and co.
2.-Me mad so I make this journal.

Once upon a time a site that used to be good, admins like Homer or Killerboy were doing a really good job and they were trying to keep an old game alive as long as possible.

It must be because I am getting old, but I can barely remember those times, considering that if you check who the admins are right now, you find names such as t4mjee or Goldorak, guys who cannot even speak English fluently (I know that my English isn’t good either, but at least I never applied to be an admin lol) and who take random stupid decisions like not showing up for the EC final or this one that I will explain below:

First of all say that whoever who knows me probably knows that I don’t give a fuck about ladder points nor ranking, me and Zwei have always played against all kind of opponents even if they were cheaters or lowranked. A good streak of winnings allowed us to be on the top 5 and we played against the rank 1 (devix and webe), luckily for us we managed to win that match but however we didn’t get rank 1 because they played a “fake” match against phyzic and rnz and lost on purpose, accepting first that score and then ours, which is forbidden as you can see on the rule 13.6:

Clans at the number one spot who are legitimately beaten may not create a war, accept and confirm the score with a 2nd clan before the score to the original one has been confirmed - so that the 2nd clan gets the number one spot.

So even when I tried to explain the situation to the admins, we didn’t got the rank 1; but a few days later another stupid decision(a mistake) by Goldorak allowed us to get into it. Justice has been made, that’s what I though.

Since that day we have got challenged EVERY SINGLE DAY by devix,webe and sungi’s teams(they have like 5 or 6 teams on the ladder, which is also forbidden, but that’s not the point now). As I said before we play against everybody but I asked myself “why should we play against such a lame opponents after what they did? Even if we win, they will challenge us the following day again till they get their rank back…”
In all this time we have been on the top (more than 150 days) we have played just a few matches due to summer and zwei inactivity but we have never refuse a challenge from any other team, but a few days ago I had a conversation with Goldorak, who informed me that if we weren’t facing them in a few days, he would give them our spot.

As you can see on the match comments, the reason why they won is explained on this picture http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=351870delingrules.jpg where you can see how both sungi and me were rechallenging each other all the time, so then I wonder “what is the criterion to give them a forfeit win?” they didn’t even bother on contact us on IRC, I guess all what they did was whine to Goldorak all the days till he gave them the reason, like when you give a toy or a candy to a kid to calm him down.

So this is the situation right now on CB, these guys are trying to finish killing an old and sick game since a long time ago, you just need to check ladders activity or viewer peaks on ETTV to realise…
