Nintendo Wii fast help pls

I wanted to play guitar hero and the game asks my Wii for an update.
In all these years this hasn't happened to me yet.

Now i can't update from 3.2E since the Wii is softmodded,
do you know any sort of alternative DVD loader?
No usbloader plz I don't want to dump this game

e: i let the update pass. after googling i found out it isnt about firmware more about sd support

Got a Wasabi DX modchip in my wii and recently I updated it with the patch from Skyward Sword. Haven't tested any games burned to DVD after that though.

I dont burn wii games, i use the usb loader for those i download or rip.
Though i burnt one Multi-gamedisc, 3 gamecube games on one dvd since the Wii doesnt support a harddrive in gamecube mode.

ive got the same problem! studying in another town aswell where I have no tv so I can only play in the weekends! Ive just passed the Earth temple on Eldin Volcano

oh shit...my skyward sword is waiting at the post office to be picked up by me and I still have 3.1E..

the counterpart to hardmodding - softmodding as in modifying the software of something, you know?

Instead of opening up the console and placing a chip, it's modded by changing the software/firmware I guess.

A softmod is a method of using software to modify the intended behaviour of hardware, such as video cards, sound cards, or game consoles in a way that can overcome restrictions of the firmware, or install custom firmware.
