installing rtcw

I've downloaded the rtcw1.4 pack and unpacked. When I run it it works fine but the server kicks me for pnkbstvA blabla think or so..
So I download pbsetup and run it... it updates

and then, when I try to run wolfmp.exe it crashes immediately :S so the problem is in running pbsetup aparently but I have to run it because otherwise I get kicked for pb problem

any solutions? ty !

unpack that rtcw1.4 pack by twister
update punkbuster
and unpack it again by overwriting the files

worked for me :)

tried it, when I update punkbuster it crashes, so I unpack/overwrite wolf14pack but then I get the punkbuster kick again :(

You could just buy the game from - http://store.steampowered.com/app/9010 - for virtually fuck all and get a genuine key, then I would help you with the pb problem.

Got 4 legit keys with original and double pack with ET disc. I bought my first in 2001-2002? Latest AUG 2011, 2 copies 50p each.

it's solved now.

i had a legit key but i lost it when i moved into my new place.

right now i dont need a key to play public, i'll buy another key if i decide to play some cup or so -,-
